if you want a Romantic dressy night Roys Hawaiian is AMAZING. It's all ala carte and kind of pricey, but to us it's worth it once or twice a year. 

California Pizza Kitchen has some amazing food. Yard house, like the person above said, is a good place too, any kind of beer you could think of.

yes jeans and I'd say a button down shirt and dress shoes. That is what my husband usually wears. I wear a cute dress or nice slacks. Its right on 111 before Target before Olive Garden, I think Rancho Mirage. Call for reservations, they won't, or shouldn't be booked on a Thrusday though.

What kind of food do they have there?

mmmm, now you're making me want to go. Expect to spend between 60-100 dollars if you do go. We rarely go there, but make it a point to at leasat twice a year because it's worth it to us. We also don't eat at other places like it. We only justify Roys because it's our favorite and it's sort of "our place" because of Hawaii lol... ya we're silly and cheesy I know. 

We love to go to The River in Rancho Mirage. There's some shops, movie theater and a couple restuarants (PF Changs, Cheesecake Factory, etc)

I am calling to make a reservation! :) It sounds so good!!!! let me know what you think!? the mahi mahi is amazing the crab cakes to start off with is awesome too my husband gets some kind of platter with 3 different things, I believe one of them is some kind of sushi roll. if you order desert make sure you order it with your meal beacause it takes a long time to cook, but they'll tell you that when you sit down. 

OMG!! Thanks Jenn for that referall. That place was AMAZING!!!! They had a table set up for his birthday. They had personalized menus done for him..they took our picture and framed it for us..the waitress was already informed that it was his birthday. THey made us feel very special. It is VERY pricey but VERY worth every penny. The food was AWESOME! I highly recommend that place for any special occasion!! I will most def be going back!!!! 

Oh yay! The hubby and I are planning a date night tommorow so we maybe I can talk him into going there. It sounds nice. I am happy you had a good time! 

Aww glad u guys had a good time. Our anniversary is in a month I might just have to keep that place in mind. Thanks for the review after you went. We have had some rotten customer experiences lately. Glad to know some good places are still around.

Oh it was the absolute best! We did go a little overboard and got the best of everything.our dinner was $159..very pricey as I said but it was soooo GOOOOD!!!! Very Romantic setting. There are Tiki torches lit up outside..Its def a place to dress up for. You can make a reservation on line. Thats the best way..thats how they made the personalized menus. The setting itself will put you and your hubby in a very loving mood!!!! 

I still feel butterflies. Lol.

YAY! I'm so glad you liked it. We love that place and I look forward to going there our 2 times a year LOL. If you ever get to Hawaii i strongly recommend going to the original Roys the atmosphere is even better!!! There is also on in Vegas as well. 

what did you have? 

We got the canoe appetizer for 2. I got the surf n turf and he got the classic seafood trio. And the chocolate desert. It was sooo good. The best food I have ever tasted from a restraunt 

The seafood trio is my husband's favorite. Now I'm craving Roys thanks a lot HAHA 

The tuna was awesome! Did you ever try the shrimp or the spicy tuna roll? So yummy. I wanna go back so bad! Lol.
