so i just took my daughters cat to the high desert animal hospital in twentynine palms for her second shot in a series. and they charged me a tech fee of twenty seven dollar. on top of the shot price. and when i asked why they charge a tech fee when their yucca valley location doesnt she said they dont charge the same. wtheck?? because as long as your not seeing the doctor at the yucca valley location they only charge you for the shot. no hidden tech fee. so my rant is why if your owned by the same fricking company dont you charge the same prices. and if you have a client that is transferring from one location to other location then why wont you tell them you have extra fee for certain things. i do plan on calling their corp office on monday since they are currently closed. so just a little fyi for everyone with animals that goes to high desert animal hospital its cheaper to go to their yucca valley location.  

I have always gone to Yucca. It is definitely worth the extra drive. When we first moved out here, I asked about vets and everyone said to make the extra drive to Yucca because the one in 29 isn't as good... I would gave to agree. 

well i just assumed (and look where that got me) they the same name..meant they were ran the same way. ive learned my lesson for sure. 

I took Tank to the one in Yucca when he first having the seizures and I took him to the one in 29 to be put down and cremated. I think the staff was more friendly (maybe because of the reason I was there) at the 29 office. Also the one here in 29 was a llittle cheaper for the private cremation then the one in yucca. but all in all I was more impressed with the staff here in 29

but all in all I was more impressed with the staff here in 29 i did like some of the staff at this location as well. its their shady charging i have a problem with.

It wasn't too bad, I had to take my dog there once for ear issues and to get his nails clipped.

they dont fix animals. Yes they do. You just have to be willing to wait forever and a day. LOL Basically make your appointment the day you get your pet. haha 

We love high desert in yucca.There staff is amazing & we love dr woodring! We use to take our dog to the 29 location & was not happy with him...Cant remember the vets name. 

Does anyone know the price to spay a dog over 25lbs? They gave me a quote at the 29 location but I didn't realize they had difference prices (very weird). We plan to use the spay/neuter clinics in AZ since it is much less expensive, but like I said, I didn't realize the prices were different.

I WANT to say that for the vet on base it is around 50.00 or 100.00 for a 10lbs dog...cant remember what they said!!! LOL...I got my name on the list in Dec...hoping to get a call in the next couple months to get him fixed :) 

We paid 145.00 back home to get our dog neutered.That was including all the pre surgery bloodwork to make sure he was clear before hand & then a weeks worth of pain medication to take home afterwards. We asked our vet in yucca how much it would cost & it was a lot more without any of the other stuff included so we waited till we went outta state & did it.
