Last week my house in 29 palms was robbed. Where can I go around here to start looking for my stuff. Are there any pawn shops in the area?

Can I ask how they got in? I am always afraid of a break-in and want to do all I can to prevent it. Sorry that happened to you.

I did get a few of my things back though. The day after it happened the police rolled up on a couple walking down the road and arguing. They stopped them and searched the backpack they had and found my cameras, oakleys, palm, and foreign currency. That was almost a week ago though so I'm guessing that they didn't find the rest.

The policeman said they already had a felony just for possession of stolen goods. The foot prints were walked on by the window repairman so he had to get with the officer working graveyard that took the pics for the initial investigation. He said if he could match the prints with their shoes they could get a warrant to search their house. That was the last I heard of it. 

and this is why i have ADT now 

Not sure about the kid thing. There are alot of people around this town that look like crack/meth heads!
And I hope that couple was arrested, if not for the break-in, then for receiving stolen property.

LMAO! Mine has a bark like a doberman and lets me know if anyone even walks past my house. 

My house got robbed last september. It sucked, it was my 25th birthday! We never got anything back (all electronics). needless to say now we have insurance on everything that can be covered, and double check the locks when we leave the house (we were out overnight when it happened). 

Luckily a got renters insurance through USAA 2 weeks prior.

Wow! I have a nice security system too, it's through GSAD (German Shepard Attack Dog)LOL! Works great! 

lol...well my old security service (Yorkie) sucked...barks like a beast but once approached runs like a biatch lol
