i dont think that i would put insurance on my pet IMO i think its just get money out of people 

Pet insurance? Hmm? I personally don't know of anybody that has it. I don't know if I'd get it though. I already pay for private medical insurance, private dental insurance, vision insurance, car/motorcycle insuarnce, homeowners insurance...sheesh!!! 

yea idk about it either. we were just considering it with everything one of our dogs is going to have to go through and have done. a friend told me about it. from what i've seen online our quote was anywhere between $35-$80/month with a $100-$500.00 deductible so were not thinking it would even out. i was just curious if it has worked well for anyone on here. 

I had it on my dogs....thought it was great till I needed to use it. They came up with all kinds of excuses why they wouldn't pay anything to us. I cancelled the ins. and will never get any again. I believe its a gimick too! JMO and experience 

I had one through Pet Smart on the east coast and continued it when I moved to 29 and I canceled it though . I had my dogs fixed , had their shots done , etc. Even though it was a drive down the hill , it was worth it. I paid like 20 bucks a month for a year. Other insurance for pets online , they are really not that good , it's just discounts..

has anyone used care credit for a vet bill? 

i had it for my dog threw VPI but pet insurances only reemburse you they don't pay for things upfront so if my dog is gonna need something that is more then 400 dollars im prob not gonna be able to pay for it anyway. plus i've heard they make a ton of excuses to not pay and basically everything that you would need insurance for isn't covered. 

yeah we decided were not gonna get any. we got approved for care credit in case we need it. we know her first visit is 300 but then every 6 months she has to go back and we dont know how much that will be. we just wanna have a back up plan to pay in case something else crazy comes up.
