Thats what I was thinking, but she says post yest for friday, which I dont know why it would post that many days early, when payday isnt even til tuesday. (monday for pmcu)
lol!! thanks MeBeingMe i will for sure save your link..yes we were thinking it was a week ahead of us since we really need the money but its just a few more days im glad we have enough baby things to get us through until then :)
Ya, i have done that before. For some reason i thought Jan had 30days and so i was like yes we get paid friday and then i was like man we get paid monday. lol..
Yes, we discussed that in another thread. That if you have an Active Duty Checking account you get it the day it would usually go pending and since Navy Fed use to have things pend for a couple days they now get it a couple days early.
maybe u can do overdraft if u need to. you do not want to use overdraft thru navy fed or anyone period...that is the reason why they are paying you earlier...to get you on the overdraft fees. they think if you have your money early then you will use it and most likely you will and then overdraft on your account becoz you over spend!!!
someone had said it in another thread... they get paid early (with the AD account) but the days between pay periods are the same as the ones that get paid on the 1st and 15th.... if you learn how to budget then it really doenst matter when paydays are!
For those with active duty accounts. The 15th isn't until Tuesday so for everyone else payday isn't until Monday night. Man I think the whole difference on paydays for different accounts has made it worse. Like clock work there is a confused payday thread every two weeks. I honestly don't see the confusion. Know what type of account you have and you either get paid a couple days earlier or the night before.
I just don't get these threads. Everyone is going to get paid and if the 2nd and 16th (which are usually the days after pay days) roll around and you don't have a paycheck in your account then you probably have something to worry about right?

well i just thought i would get on and say that the poster that posted all those dates for navy fed and what not is wrong...well half wrong lol...yes those are the days for regular checking at navy fed...if you have active duty checking you get paid earlier...for example we get paid on the 11th at midnight and the funds will be available to us saturday morning because we have active duty checking and for those that have regular checking get paid on the 14th
Those are the days for Marine Fed- I *assumed* NF was the next day because they typically are but I know with the new military checking, it could be earlier.
That's bologna that Navy Fed gets paid first now! I'm going to write a letter! Dear Mr. USAA, I am a white woman living in America. haha gotta love White Chicks!
