Could eveyone please send up some prayers for my friend Amanda and her 2 year old son Jacob!?! She was driving and some girl speeding rear ended them and they had to life-flight Jacob to Oklahoma City because the hospital couldnt stabilize him. He has a skull fracture and broken arm, he is non-responisive and the doctors are saying he has about 5% chance of survival.

OMGosh...so so sad. My prayers are with baby Jacob and family.

Weird tho how she has obliterated her account... 

He was without oxygen for 20 minutes so the doctors said they are only keeping him on life support for 48 hours. But they also said even if he does make it he will more than likely be brain dead.

Same here, I cant even begin to imagine how she is feeling. To know that she is ok and her baby boy may not survive. 

how did he go 20 minutes without oxygen? did it take that long for EMT's to get there? that just seems like a REALLY long time... How's the mom? any injuries?

They couldnt get to him. They had to cut him out of the car, from what I understand. And im not sure exactly how long it took the EMT's to get there, all I know is it's McAlester, OK so they more than likely took their time. They have a tendancy to do that. And the mom is fine. She is a little bruised up and they thought she may have broken her nose but turned out she didnt.

Yea McAlester isnt known for its 'wonderful' doctors and such

Im happy she is able to be there with him and she has all of her family there, she definatly needs the support right now.

Yea the girl WAS flying, and didnt even see them!! I just hope and prayer that he makes it.

They said the doctors found a pulse but he is still unresponsive.

I'm so sorry. That's horrible. I hope everything works out the best it can for them. 

Well last night around midnight he had some brain activity, very little but still some. They are doing a cat scan on him right now. This little boy is a fighter. And thank you all for the prayers. 

sometimes life is very unfair..hope he makes it, prayers for him and the family..

They are supposed to be updating me in a few hours, from what ive heard though, nothing has changed, but I will wait for Amandas sister to let me know for sure, then I will definatly update yall. Thank you guys again for all the prayers.

She said the doctors just told them that if they can not get blood flowing to his brain by this time tomorrow then there is nothing else they can do.
