Ok, so how competitive is this league? And is it fastpitch does anyone know? I'd like to play but I dont wanna look like a fool at this mandatory skills evaluation lol I have a glove but no bat and I havent played competitive softball in 4 or 5 years. 

It's slow pitch :-) I haven't played in awhile either, but will be at the mandatory skills evaluation if you want a buddy, I also have a few bats and what not if you want to practice. Just shoot me a private message. 

If any ladies were wanting to join and didn't show up last night, you should call or stop by building 1341! I think they were hoping to make 4 teams and maybe about 2 teams worth showed. All skill levels! 

What is the season, like as in which months. We are moving and I wouldn't wait to join if we are moving mid season. 

Season starts September 19 and I believe runs to mid-november. 

Anyone got a call back from them yet? They said at the skills eval we would hear from them within a week but I still havent heard. Hope theyre still doing the league! 

Nope, haven't heard back from them. There were only enough girls at the skills eval on the 29th to fill maybe two teams, maybe they are still looking for players. Which field were you on at the eval? I was number 14, first field.

one of the coaches is out of town, i got a call from my coach, and he said that some people may not have gotten called yet because their coach is out of town. so maybe your guys coach's are out of town! there are 4 teams that i know of also.

Nope, I was #14. I think LOL. We started outfield, then in, then hitting.

Oh haha well whatever number I was I hit then went to the other field to do the fielding. I did pretty good I'm ready to play for real!!

And that makes sense I hope we hear soon! 

We def weren't on the same field. I'm also ready to play, my husband is a really good coach playing catch, and pitching to me so I can get in batting practice but I want the real deal now :-)

Update if you get a call, I'll do the same!

I see that you said the were able to fill 4 teams. But if by chance any one hears about them still accepting players will someone post it. I had a lot going on and was unable to attend. But would like to play if the chance comes again. :)

I called. I'm on a team, our coach will be calling soon he just got back into town. Bama, my neighbor was supposed to play and for whatever reason decided not to, but she is on the player list for my team, so maybe you can switch with her..
