Thats because parents now a days are anti vaccines. I will not touch that subject at all. My kids are vaccinated so hopefully it won't affect my family!

I asked a fellow Marine wife why she didn't believe in having her kids vaccinated. She said it was because she was afraid her kids would develop autism????

That has been dis-proven.

Yeah, I shared This link with her, but she's still convinced.

Parents fake Religion to avoid vaccines

The person in this story also mentioned, she believed that early vaccinations are the cause of her son's autism.

Religious beliefs against vaccinations

Anti-vaccination Society was started in 1798 in Boston USA claiming it was Against the will of God.

I had a friend that thought the same thing, about it causing Autism, she developed that thought after her son had his first round of shots. He cried and ran a slight fever, which is normal, and she was devastated. So she began saying it was unhealthy for children to get vaccines. So I told her the studies were not true, and we are no longer friends. Basically since my children got their shots and she thought I was a bad parent lol. So whatever.
I want my kids to be protected from diseases that they can be protected from, a little pinch now will save a lot of pokes later (if one was to get a disease). So to each his own.

I don't think you're safe either way

Just like Whooping Cough. HS kids were required to get vaccinated again prior to enrolling due to recent outbreak.

No not again. Mine had already had his way back when and all we had to do was take proof of same.

I have a friend who is against vaccinations. She says her son has never gotten sick and it causes more harm then anything. Since that statement two years ago her son has been sick more then myself and my kids combined. Her daughter is 8 months old I believe and she has been sick for most of those. I would think that this would open her eyes to the fact that there is more then a cold and flu that can be passed and all she is doing is weakening their immune systems.
