Palm Desert Toys R Us Black Friday 2008.

Two men shot each other and I believe killed each other. I think they held everyone in the store (the police did) for hours getting statements. 

well, they at least had Time to Shop 

So is it closed? Indio comes up asthe closest one. And OMG abt the shooting lol Im a black friday buff, seen a few scuffles and elbows thrown but never gun fire. 

It is not closed, it's still there in Palm Desert on HWY 111. I go there once a month for diapers/wipes, I've never had a problem. Perhaps avoid it on black Friday, although it was 3 years ago.

It is closed, they re-opened in Indio. I was actually down there in that area just the other day, I was also across the street when the shooting occurred and my two friends were in the store when that happened.

It's not there anymore. We were there yesterday. The store is empty. Indio is the closest one. 

I was sad when it closed...I went two months ago to get my lil boy some toys and ...oh well target did the trick 

Yep, its gone. The big Toys/Babies R Us is in Indio. They still don't have as much as Riverside though 

They are overpriced anyways! 

How far is Indio? I thought it was on the other side of Palm Desert. They always have great sales for xmas, buy one get one, free giftcards when you buy video games ect...

I went to Moreno Valley. Very nice store!!! Im heading that way for now on...forget you PS area. :)
