I think it is one of the things you use on say a trumpet or horn for the mouth like a 'piece' .I found at a kind of garage sale [not sure what theyre called].. Anyone ever used or had them or know extra stuff about themm relating to music actions ?? Just to blab. 

Its called a "mouth piece" used for brass instruments.
