IF any local people have had a Basenji dog [African barkless]?? because if I can get a good deal on one I might want to own it especially as young at first..

I agree with kel, a kitty cat is easier to take care of. Potty training a doggie is hard work, and you are always out and about Joe, a dog requires a lot of attention. 

Agreed that is true ..lots of attention for doggies. But then for now I will wait on getting a cat because cat's like pets and desire other attention they want from us.. lol
