Because especially that shipping links are huge and heavy and are solid steel and I liked smaller kinds for a long time [be honest it is a knick nack thing to me like a big toy but that you do not play with]. If that can be acceptable.. A single giant link can be over 60 lbs easily .. but ones weighing even 30 or less little are okay too/ 100 plus weight is great too or over. 

chains in general come in hardness grades [rates] like 30 grade [NAH not interested] --BUT 70 grade to 100 grade I like . 80 grade too.Because it's steel is incredibly tough as it is just the idea of it I like.
