Who in this UG ever stayed or lived or grew up in the Anaheim area [the OC] ?? 

I lived close by growing up in Rowland Heights. 

I live in Orange County! Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the area. I say I am about 20 minutes from Disneyland. There is always something to do. 

I actually grew up in Garden Grove and watched Disneyland being built.....I lived 2 1/2 miles from Disneyland, right off of Harbor Blvd....

No actually Disneyland opened on July 18, 1955. Construction started in 1954. So he would not be dead. He is just an older man. No offense Rudy.

Nope, I actually ment Disneyland...I was in the 1st Grade when it opened...But I remember it....and I remember seeing the Beach Boys and a lot of other bands there during my High School days....Oh what memories.... 

My hubby was born in Anaheim 

I been to Disneyland about maybe 8 or 9 times since the 1960s and my grandparents originally lived at first in Costa Mesa! Then they moved to Eltoro and eventually older nicer Santa Ana before living in the 29palms area..But like IWHS says they is lots to do.They both are passed away now.
