Hello... 29-niners! Hello Kel!! The main reason for coming on here, is I am still getting phone call for my cakes! I have been in Minnesota for nearly a year & 2 months now & I still get calls. (Like at least 1 a month.) One woman wanted to FLY me out to make her daughters' WEDDING CAKE last September, (though I said I couldn't, as it was in the fall & kids starting school & I had NO idea where I was going to make the cake & then I would have had to bring my gear with me & all that jazz. I just couldn't do it.. even though it would have been fun & been my first wedding cake it was still hard to say, "no, sorry... I can't do it."

I love knowing that I am still wanted/needed for cakes, but I am NOT in 29 anymore. I guess I should have changed my number.

Other than that.... I miss the weather in Cali!! Being born in Southern California hasn't helped either! LOL The winter here in MN last year was crazy-stupid. My family & I arrived here about 5 days before we got 18" & the Metrodome Collapse!!
It was rather shocking to say the least! Welcome to MinneSNOWda! hehehehe 

Speaking of which...I need another birthday cake on March 23!!! ;)

My hubby works at this base. We currently live in a town home without much of a yard & it's really put a hurt on our dogs & kids! We'll be moving *out to BFE* in April & can't wait to have more room, a large yard & no nosey neighbors. LOL
