One Run For Boston

My name is Danny Bent and I'm part of a small UK team organising a non-stop running relay from Los Angeles to Boston to raise funds and awareness for The One Fund Boston. We are struggling to find runners for our stages near 29 Palms.

The relay will give runners from all backgrounds the chance to show their solidarity and support for Boston. This epic event starts in LA on June 7 2013 arriving in Boston on June 30 having crossed 14 states.

Hey Rudy, it's 100% legitimate. Boston Marathon guys know about us, BAA know about us, One Fund Boston know about us and it's happening.

It's terrible that things have happened in the past in the states that might cause you to question this run, but I really want to be able to reassure you that this is just a reaction to the bombing - a group of 3 athletes in the UK who didn't want to stand by and not do anything. We wanted to do more than give a cheque.

Would be fabulous if you wanted to run! We are talking with Palm Spring RR who probably have more info about us than you. We were also just on Fox News.
