Me too but too much money for us. Im looking at a journey but we aren't tall. as far as car anything that is a full size car. I love love my Fusion we just have outgrown it as a family i will be sad when i sell it here soon.
I love my 2005 Trailblazer (seats 7), but they don't make it anymore, I believe the Traverse took it's place but I like the Acadia better. My son says go with the Hummer H3, it's smaller, fits 5 and you can get a used one for under 20k now. It's considered a mid-sized SUV.
Are you absolutely sold on a car or suv? I've had a '99 Lexus RX300, '02 Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD, '04 Ford Explorer XLT(flex fuel) & now my 1st truck, a '06 Chevy Silverado LS.
The Silverado seats 6 with plenty of leg room for everyone in the back, it's the extended cab so it has 4 full size doors like an SUV. You also have the convenience of owning a truck if you need to move large items.
to me it sounds like she is looking for something small but big at the same time, it sounds like she is worried about the gas. Which i don't blame her that is why we are looking at a Journey over a Durango
Everyone is going to have their own opinions but my own personal experience has been good. The VW we have is our 3rd vehicle and soley our commuter car. It has sooooo many miles on it and it runs perfect.
