okay so i promise im not crazy lol. I live in adobe flats and lately ive been feeling something watching me or something. Well anyways i looked up ghost in 29 palms online and come to find out people wrote in saying some parts of base housing is haunted? Does anyone know or have stories about all this?

Probably just being paranoid. Ghosts do not exsist. 

lol maybe i was talking to a few other ppl and i guess like a year ago they had peeping toms around here lol

Here's a previous thread & some base housing experiences are discussed in there. Read with caution cause you'll probably freak yourself out more. 

We had issues in our home for awhile and then we prayed over our home from door to door, window to window...the next night my husband was in the kitchen and an orb of bright light literally appeared in front of him and then "flew" out from our kitchen through the patio door and we've never had a problem since. And I don't believe in ghosts but I do believe in Angels and demons. So this whole issue that we had really bothered me to no end. We had people that stayed with us that saw the same thing I saw and my son saw. I don't know if you're religious or not but praying over your home would be what I suggest. 

my mom told me to burn sage and prayer i think just to be okay i want to do it. 

Yep yep. You want to burn a thick bunch of sage till its burning like an inscense stick. keep it burning and concentrate on the doorway, any entrances or windows. I cant remember the prayer youre supposed to say though. My grandmother does stuff like this for people who feel their home is being haunted or hosting a demonic spirit. Its crazy but I believe in stuff like this. Not "ghosts" but spirits of the dead who cant or are not ready to move on. 

I've never been one to believe anything like this. Until I moved to Yucca. Too many weird things like TV's going on in the other room while the kids were right in front of me. Light's in the mirrors when all logical options weren't available. I really started to freak. Called St. Mary's in Yucca and had the house blessed by a Nun. She was super sweet, had coffee and cookies with us after! Well worth the donation and peace of mind. Never had another problem. My mom thought I was losing my mind. 

I've also used a touch of olive oil over each window and door. Just did a little cross with my finger while praying over each area. You can also use holy water. We had some issues in our other house we were renting here in Yucca.

I had problems in my house too,but once again Im not on base. It started out small like feeling something in the house and I tried to ignore it. It just got worse before the whole ordeal was over with I was getting crank calls from disconnected numbers, my doors and cabinets were slamming, all of my kids toys were going off simultaneously by themselves, I was seeing someone run across my hallway and run into rooms with closed doors, both of my animals were always in hiding and freaking out, I started having dreams about this random person that would mess with me in my sleep, then I started see that same person standing at the foot of my bed, my daughter would scream hysterically in her sleep and I couldnt wake her up even my pinching her and shaking her but she would wake up after I prayed, I got physically pushed out of my bed, my tv would turn on with only sound no picture, I would watch the rosary on TV and mysteriously the tv would cut out on the phrase "save us from evil" and "lead all souls to heaven".....it got really bad. I walked around my house crying and praying throwing holy water and it would only calm down for a night then start back up. I called the priest on base (Father Hicks) and he came and blessed my house. I havent had a problem since. 

both my neighbor and I have had weird things happen in our house and I always feel like their are presences around me....I always feel like someone is watching me and I think I see someone and then there is noone there.....or I feel someone sneak up on me and when I turn around noone is there.....we live on base housing as well..... 

When we lived in Joe Davis my husband said he had nightmares EVERY night.. I would also feel like someone would be starring or behind me. We moved on base and my husbands nightmares have stopped and the feeling of someone being in the room with me when no one was around has also stopped.. 

has anyone heard that the carousel cafe was haunted? I was googling and reading some articles and came across that. I have had weird things happen in our base housing lately. 

If we believe in God U dont have to worry. If u dabble in things like witch craft/ rituals to encounter spirits ur opening a door that shouldnt be...just pray and ask them to leave.:) 

My husband thinks im crazy, cause i told him whats been going on lately. I told him if it was just us i would be okay with all this but since we have 3 kids in the house im a little worried. All the storys im hearing and reading make me think hmm was this area of the desert a holly place or someting u know? Can i really call father hicks from base and they wont think im crazy?

I'm pretty sure he is there for anything that you may need....but if you are really worried about it there are church's off base as well them I'm sure would help you out as well....

She and her husband and daughter end up with big scratches on them out of nowhere, hear people walking around in her daughter's room, stomping up the stairs, her daughter's radio blaring on and off when it was off the whole time... crazy. Her house never seems to light up no matter how many lights she has on either. It just always feels dark in there.

that's wild I'll say carebear ..I think I'd have a 'talk' at them 'residents' if I could .

base housing is built upon ancient man territory ..the native Americans have been at this site for over 10,000 yrs. whether or not it’s sacred ground is anybody’s guess as there has never been an archeological excavation as far as I know.... 

I grew up in a house in town and we beleive we had some type of entity living with us. I have lots of cool stories, but it seemed our friend was a protector. My mom was a volunteer fire fighter. One night she was on call and had some firefighter friends over. Her radio was not working and nobody could fix it. They tried swapping batteries, but her battery worked in their radios and her radio still did not work. That night the fire department received a call. I beleive there was some type of explosion and a few firefighters were injured very badly. My mom never made that call because of her radio. The next morning, her radio worked perfectly. Like I said, I have several out of the ordinary stories, but the endings are all the same. We never felt safer and we welcomed our visitor.

I have been known to 'haunt' fast food places often except I do not look pale or whitish shades ..But if you buy me lunch I usually leave ya alone. 

I also live in adobe flats,when we first moved into the house the door to the laundry room began shaking violently as if someone was trying to open it without twisting the door knob, my sons toys went off two days in a row all awhile everyone was in the living room, and i too sometimes feel as if someone were watching me. its weird but i really try not to pay any mind and just say a prayer. although when the door and toy incident occured, i did shout "leave us alone and in peace in our home." sounds funny now but my hairs were raised. 

has anyone heard that the carousel cafe was haunted?

Maybe that's why their food is so YUCK!
