SO, DH's orders do not have me listed so TMO will not come get our things till the orders are changed :( 

sorry to hear as I think I know how that feels like if when you got to leave stuff behind temporarily .. :( Hope it gets better real soon! 

OMG, thats ridiculous!!! They would have to move HIS stuff anyway. They are such a pain in the a**.

Hopefully it's an easy fix. It's funny because I think people purposely go out of there way to make military moves difficult. Some people will bend over backwards to make things easy for you and then you run into people who just LOVE making things as difficult as possible.

I found the most difficult was the housing office when we arrived here. GThey were VERY slow and anal. I just heard a coworker can go pick her house keys down in Pendelton this week and her husband doesn't check in until Jan 15! Now that makes for a very easy move! 

I'm so mad, I did have job interviews lined up, but the two days I needed to be out there I will be sitting on my butt here in NC babysitting TMO

Helpful that I get to go now, not helpful in that that may be my only chance at finding work. 

Well maybe if you explain your situation you can do a phone interview.

Yeah, when I called they seemed pretty PO'ed that I would have to reschedule.

They aren't even supposed to take jewelry. My house was just packed up and the movers wouldn't touch that kind of stuff. 

I moved with TMO 3 or 4 times in the past and getting ready to move with them again. My best advice is to have them pack one room at a time so you can watch them. When we moved from NC to here...those movers there stole some of my apple items for my kitchen and some fabric materials. I'm not saying they are all bad (movers) but do keep an eye on them. 

I assumed they couldnt touch it but before I could get to it, he said he already packed it. So I assumed he was an honest man and packed it. WRONG! 

I learned my lesson! TMO also stole some jewelry of mine. That was 15 years ago, since then, it gets put away in a safe when they are around.

TMO Inspector in Yuma (15 years ago)was fired and prosecuted for stealing guns!
