Does anyone else find this pathetic???? My husband has been on two deployments to Iraq and one to Afghanistan and as hard as it was without him around; I survived. It's a cake walk compared to his job. These woman need to put on their big girl panties and peel that dumb sticker off their cars.
Are you kidding me???? Being a Marine wife truely is the hardest job in the Corps. 3 deployments really isn't much. If you do several year long deployments, seven month deployments, TAD's and so on, then you will realize how difficult it really is...
How many bullets, snipers, IEDs did you have to avoid going to the commissary? My mom agrees with me! My Dad did three deployments in Vietnam and then got called back to Desert Storm in the early 90s. Then again maybe your right my Dad always said " The Marine Corp isn't as tough as it use to be"!!!!!!!
These woman need to put on their big girl panties and peel that dumb sticker off their cars.
Really? seems to me that YOU need to take your own advice and mind your business. You don't have a clue what bother women have to deal with while us Marines are deployed. I don't know why it's YOUR business how other people feel.
I've been in for a long time and it's not the same as it was back then but then again nothing is quite as tough anymore. Wives are lucky now that they get calls, emails and skype but that does not mean they have it easy. Some women have kids, jobs and lives that don't stop for deployments so yeah, I think they have the right to put that on their car. If the actual Marines don't care then why the heck do you?
Dex is everything REAL about a Marine. You don't know him or what he does. I'd stop running your mouth on this site, talking about (kindly deleted) you don't know ANYTHING about. Stop being so (kindly deleted) worried about other wives and just worry about YOURSELF and your family. Is that so (kindly deleted) hard?! Just shows immaturity at it's best.
I would like to say sorry to those who had a rough time during deployments. Mine was a bear stress free deployment. I consider myself lucky. Before deploying he organized a support group with other wives in my area. My husband and I planned and saved ahead so that way everything was in order. Not to mention things have been easy for me since I do work part time and go to college using MY GI Bill to pay for it. Yea shame on me and my husband for thinking ahead.
I've been a Marine a heck of a lot longer than your husband has probably even been alive. I'm not taking the word of some young Marine wife drama queen and her boot husband (or friends) about anything. I guess I have better things to worry about then what stickers people put on their cars. Then again, I have to concern myself with at least 100 men on any given day so I don't have the kind of time you obviously do.
My wife has made it through a ton of deployments and would never put such a thing on her car however IF she did it wouldn't make it YOUR concern. Period.
My husband and I planned and saved ahead so that way everything was in order. Not to mention things have been easy for me since I do work part time and go to college using MY GI Bill to pay for it. Yea shame on me and my husband for thinking ahead.
Excuse me what exactly does ANY of this have to do with your original topic? Did you blink and forget what we were talking about?
Well then why are you wasting your time on a gossip page?
I do get some time to myself you know. What is your husband doing right now? Playing a video game? Drinking a beer and relaxing? It's the weekend so I come on here and correct morons for fun. The site is not just for gossip btw, it can also offer some great information. The only catch is that you would need to read above a 5th grade level to understand any of it.
