We do the same thing Rae, we use cut up hot dogs in crescent rolls too.
They are even better when you put chocolate in the crescent rolls and sprinkle with powdered sugar.....nom nom nom Without the hot dog part of course lol.
When I was growing up, my Japanese grandpa would babysit my brothers & I after school. As an afterschool snack he would slice a hot dog length wise & toss it into a corn tortilla and microwave it for 15 seconds, take it out & put some mustard on it & roll it up. He called it a Mexican Corn Dog. It had all the same flavors, just different texture.
